OCS allows adding payment links or QR codes on invoices. They can be placed on paper and electronic documents, including invoices sent to Poland's emerging National e-Invoicing System (KSeF). OCS allows accepting staggered payments and supports card transactions. There are also plans to integrate OCS with Blik, which is popular in our country. The solution has its own interface, but it can also be operated using APIs of other payment or accounting programs such as Banqup.
What benefits does the OCS provide?
The most important advantage of the Online Collection Services feature is the ability to significantly speed up the remittance without the need to manually enter payment data. OCS is a low cost for invoice issuers, while for payers it is easy to use and completely free. Funds from a payment made using a link or QR code flow directly into the account of the issuer of the accounting document. What is particularly important, the OCS service is designed not only for large organizations, generating thousands of invoices each year, but also for medium and small businesses.
Not just invoices. What can OCS be used for?
In addition to paying invoices for goods and services provided by companies, the Online Collection Services feature has many other uses. Their list includes, among others:
- one-time payments - for example, for orders completed in an online store;
- paying fines;
- Bill payments - including those made with a future date (e.g., an electricity invoice paid by the end of the month);
- Paying for subscriptions, subscriptions and other regular payments - such as Netflix;
- conducting collections.
